Admission Foreign National

Admission of Foreign/dual National (Residing Within Pakistan)

The candidates possessing Foreign/Dual Nationality and residing within Pakistan (provided can understand ‘English’ and ‘Urdu’ Language) are eligible to apply for admission through Online Link.

Before applying, read instructions given in admission guide and video.

Such Foreign/Dual National (Residing within Pakistan) candidate(s) is required to submit/courier following documents after applying Online to the following address:

Admission Office, Virtual University of Pakistan,
M.A. Jinnah Campus, Defence Road off Raiwind Road, Lahore, Pakistan

Required Documents to Courier:

  • Five duly filled out and signed copies of HEC student information sheet
  • Two attested copies of Visa and Passport
  • Two attested copies of Proof of Nationality
  • Five attested copies of Afghan Refugee Card (if applicable)
  • Two sets of all educational documents
  • HEC or IBCC equivalence in case of foreign qualification/ degree.
  • Admission Application Form Number filled and submitted Online.

Upon receipt of above-mentioned documents, the University will forward detail to the Higher Education Commission, Islamabad and concerned agencies for approval. Thereafter candidate will be intimated by the University about the admission status firstly through an email. Thereafter, hard copy of admission offer letter along with VU ID card will be dispatch/mailed to the student at his/her postal address. A list of admitted candidates is also displayed and updated during admission session at VU website www.vu.edu.pk under ‘Admission’.

Admission of Foreign/dual National (Residing Abroad)

The candidates possessing Foreign/Dual Nationality and residing abroad may apply for admission (provided can understand ‘English’ and ‘Urdu’ Language) through Online Link. Before applying, read instructions given in admission guide and video. Such applicants will submit below documents to the Admission Office:

Admission Office, Virtual University of Pakistan,
M.A. Jinnah Campus, Defence Road off Raiwind Road, Lahore, Pakistan

Required Documents to Courier:

  • One attested copy of Proof of Nationality
  • Declaration that he/she will not demand any letter from the University for the issuance of Pakistan visa. However, during visit to Pakistan, if any he/she will appear for examination in the university designated exam center only.
  • HEC or IBCC equivalence in case of foreign qualification/ degree.

Admission Processing & Confirmation

Upon receipt of above-mentioned documents and verification of documents provided in Online Form, candidate will be intimated about his/her admission status via email and hard copy letter. A list of admitted candidates is also displayed and updated during admission session at VU website www.vu.edu.pk under ‘Admission’.
