Introduction
The 4 years BS program in Accounting and Finance is meticulously structured to empower students to excel in a rapidly evolving, global business and financial environment. It is prioritizes the development of essential interpersonal, ICT, and communication skills, providing hands-on experience through a rigorous capstone project and internship. The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) enrolled students can seamlessly join and receive well-deserved exemptions for completed courses. Additionally, the program rigorously fosters ethical citizenship, social inclusivity, and professionalism, making a point to emphasize digital literacy and communication skills. Graduates can confidently anticipate a solid foundation for a successful career in accounting and finance and the readiness for advanced study.
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum 12 Years of Education or equivalent with atleast 45% marks. Candidates having less than 45% marks will also be eligible for admission after the successful completion of “Zero Semester”.
Note:
- Candidates having ‘A’ levels are required to provide equivalence certificate from Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC), Islamabad.
- The admission criteria regarding CAF qualified students from ICAP will be as per the HEC’s notification wide Letter No.15-54/Coord/2019/HEC/(SAD)/451. An exemption of upto 39 credit hours in this regard will be determined by the University’s admission /equivalence committee. Student may be able to complete their degree program in 5 semesters.
Award of Degree
To be eligible for the award BS degree, the students are required to complete prescribed course work of 127 credit hours with a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.0 out of 4.
